Unmoored/Unbound ran at Powerhouse Arts from May 21 through August 9. The moment I saw my work installed, I was astonished by how brilliant the placement was. I never imagined hanging my Crucifixion against a wall this rustic. Yet the red of the loincloth and the orange spray paint echoed each other, creating a vibrant effect. Christ is in the urban world, right in front of a graffiti-covered wall.
